Well here is the original narrative - Original Tuesdays with Morrie

It was pretty rusty. I did not really care about the spelling or grammatics. I just really wanted to get the story down.

Then we remixed them and John S., Regina, and John M. reworked mine.

The first person to edit my story was John S.

I really like how he added a cool little intro to my story and I did decide to use that in my final. Also some of the sentences he reworked and edited which was helpful.

The second person to edit was John M.

He really restructured my entire paper. He remixed some of the quotes and also deleted lots of things out of the paper. Most of the last two paragraphs were deleted. I realized that the last paragraph I did not like in the story. I did want people to read it though so I just put it as a footnote below the narrative.

The last person was Regina.

Regina edits Farrah

Regina's edit was probably the most helpful because she remixed the most recent verison of my paper. It was almost the final copy. She changed so sentences around and added some stuff I used as well. I was not basically to have a final edit.

Then I remixed Austin, John S. and Regina.

Austins story was about skydiving and I really liked it because I could relate to it. I mixed the grammatics and added some sentences I thought were funny. Overall I really liked the story.

Next I edited John S. his story was about his experience in the Air force. I also restructured some sentences. The major thing I changed was the word tasking because it was not familiar to anyone who was not in the military. I replaced the words with ones any reader could understand.

Regina's paper was about her encounter with the manatees. It was interesting. I added and deleted a few sentences and fixed some spelling mistakes.

After all of that I ended up with my final paper.

Tuesdays with Morrie

Overall the remixing process was not to bad at all. I really liked what everyone did to my paper. I used parts of everyones remixes in my final project. It was nice to have three different takes on it. Also I did not find it bother sum to have anyone correct my work. I mean things can always be improved.

I did have a little trouble with remixing over peoples narratives though. I just really liked everyone's stories so I did not want to change them. I mostly just added a few things and fixed what I thought was nessary. I was not worried about offending anyone because well everyone else had to do the same thing. It was not as bad as I thought it would be. Plus it helps everyone get a better outlook on their paper.
