Free Soundin it

For those of you who are spending too much time wondering where my sound inspiration comes from, here is the answer. The Nintendo Entertainment System. Every piece of music made on the system is a sound effect that is used over and over again and arranged on top of other sound effects used over and over again until you get a beautiful piece of music such as this.

So here is my first sound. Though it is not one sound effect, the piece you heard earlier is not the same sound, but many different sound effects mashed together to make music. So is the goal of this piece.

The second sound is a little different. It adds an interesting level of depth to it and reminds me of a piece of music in a Bomberman video game.

Sound number three is the binder. it ties in both sound one and two.

If you believe a fourth sound is necessary, I have this one here, but I don't know if it helps or hurts this piece. I don't really like this one, but some people might. It hits too high of a pitch.

So all in all, if you were wondering what piece of music it was that I played in the beginning, it was the battle music from the end boss of Kirby's adventure for the Nintendo Entertainment System or NES for those of you who are somewhat game literate or for those who arn't, the "origional nintendo" which is an inacurate statement because the NES is infact a redesign of the famicom of japan and that, my friends is the "origional" nintendo. Although you could go as far as to say that it was the first nintendo system released in North America and I'll give you that one. More in another blog.
