Some good bloggin 8

Page history last edited by Anonymous 2 yrs ago

So I guess you are all wondering why I chose to name this particular blog "8." Simple. Consistancy, my friends. You know how confused you would all be if I had gone with the title of "Some good bloggin 6?" It would be utter chaos. So what did you think of the short narrative? This is actually a fight scene between the L-TEAM and Death that I opted not to add in the origional release of the comic "L-TEAM: Mothers of God." In the origional, the team is able to defeat Death without a large fight scene. In the movie version of this comic (currently still under production... when I get around to it) will include the fight scene because I feel that I should have taken the time to write it. So you are all getting a sneak peak at what is to come in the future. though the ending will be consistant with what is written in the comic, the fight up until that point will be almost exactly the same. Also, I've based the abilities and some of the look of death off of the Castlevania series. In his frequent appearences, death is able to summon smaller scythes that act as a shield and are hurled toward you. As far as raising the dead, Death has never done this. I merely added this effect for coolness sake. Though the powers and some of the look are the same, none of his personality and history are. I didn't want to use the castlevania story of Death because it would be inconsistant with the comic universe of my imagination. Death plays a different kind of role which is personified in the comics that Trey will be giving you next week if he remembers to print them.

The music that I have chosen in the Boss battle music from Final Fantasy IV released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It is not the actual music from the game, however. In 1996, Squaresoft worked with Nintendo to create "Super Mario RPG." In the game, there is a side quest which will allow you to fight a big bad enemy themed in the Final Fantasy style. The music that they play is the same as in Final Fantasy IV, but it is remade slightly to fit with the soundtrack of the game. This is the more difficult to obtain version so I used it. It also gave me a chance to give you guys a history lesson. I know all about this kind of useless shit, so ask me any questions that you have about some bizarre refrence.

Isn't it amazing how much thought I've put into this?
