Smoke filled the valley and as it cleared, victory became evident. Another victory is awarded for the great Athanasious, the world renown general who placed great emphasis on ending war before it began, this is just another notch on his belt. Swift attack on the oppositions' armies is his tool for enemy forfeiture. Athanasious heard the chants of his soldiers reciting his name over and over again. He had become acustome to the sound for he heard it almost everyday. Everytime he heard their chants he would get excited as if it was the first time he was hearing this. He heard the sounds when he was in the middle of loud crowds and even when he was alone. How did Athanasious here the sounds of his greatful soldiers when noone was around him do you ask? The reason is because Athanasious was a day dreamer and the chants he heard were coming from his head. Athansious was only dreaming acheiving great victories of that of which only the best generals can bring forth and this is what he longed for as his career. He loved to listen to old war stories of great generals such as: George Washington and Alexander The Great. He loved how courageous these man were and how they did all they could do to protect their people and lead them to victory. He beleived that killing was indeed wrong but also beleived that when a soldier is ordered to fight that God would forgive him for his actions for that a soldier is only following orders. Athanasious did not only think that he could be a great soldier but figured he would be so great that he would have to get promoted to the elite position of general not soon after enlisting. The general of an army is the leader of the army. Everyone in the army followed his orders and did what he said. As Alexander the Great, he would not follow the typical strategy of having the general in the back behind his soldiers, he would be in the front. This tactic brings trust to the general from his soldiers for they know he would not be sending them anywhere he did not feel comfortable going himself. There was just one difficulty with Athanasious enlisting in the service and fulfilling his dream of becoming a great general for his country, the United States of America, this was his mother. His mother did not want him to pursue a career in military. She told him that if he left for the service she would terribly miss him. She also told him that his attitude was wrong and that just because the opposition wants to fight that does not mean he would have to be the one fighting. She told him that she understood that he did not want any of his fellow country mans' blood to be shed and that he wanted to be the one to lead them to all out victory but she explained that it is not his place to do this. She told him to follow the life of Jesus of that they both loved so much and to be as peaceful and loving as Jesus was. He loved his mother more then anything on the planet but insisted that evil lurked across the seas and he needed to physically shut satin down. She answered back that good would beat evil no matter what he did and he needed to stay in town and take care of her for she is old. Athanasious agreed for he did not want to disobey his mother's wishes. As he grew, becoming a general never escaped his mind. His dreams of leading his army to victory and becoming a world hero that was loved by all never faded. How could he accomplish living both lives. Could the life of peace around his family along with tactics for victory be accomplished all at once? Then it finally came to him. He decided he would practice a profession that battled every day. He liked that these battles were nonviolent and even preached peace, traquility and justice to all. How didnt he think of this before? It was even known that while working in this career the professionals associated were a lot like generals who plotted tactics to victory. This proffesion was that of a attorney. He always had a great respect for attorneys as well and thought he could excel in this as well. Athanasious got excited with the thought that attorneys are a lot like generals in that they both plan strategies to victory and both represent and lead their personal to peace of mind. This motivated him more then ever. With his mother's wishes and the lord's blessings he became an excellent student and is now in law school. He excelled in law school and went on to become one of the best attorneys known and as contrary to others is well known for his ethical choices in picking what cases and clients to defend. Alongside his mother he lives happily ever after
