picture perfect

The movie Picture Perfect staring Jennifer Aniston definitely shows us how important a picture can be. Two random people in a wedding take a picture together. These two people did not know each other before the wedding, did not speak during the wedding, and did not plan to speak after the wedding. One of them tells her colleagues (after being scrutinized for not being stable) that she is dating the gentleman she took the picture with. When they all wanted to meet the man she was in trouble. The picture shows them with their arms around each other smiling. From looking at the picture you probably would not have thought the two people in the picture did not know each other. The women deceived her friends with the help of the picture. We believe what we see. If I was to show you a picture I took with Jon Gruden after a football game and told you I personally know him, you might believe me for I do have a picture with the guy. Pictures are important because they capture occasions both occurring occasions and ones we might invent out of the blue.
