Photography, defined by the dictionary, is simply the process or art of producing images of objects on sensitized surfaces by the chemical action of light or of other forms of radiatn energy, as x-rays, gamma rays or cosmic rays. Our use for photography is actually through the vehicle of pictures. Pictures are created by capturing light on a light sensitive medium, such as film. Light patterns reflected or emitted from objects are recorded onto a sensitive medium or storage chip through a timed exposure. The most common process is done through mechanical, chemical or digital devices known as cameras. A camera is an image forming device used to capture or record. Photographers use the camera to control the exposure. The exposure is the light of the image that is being recorded, by controlling the timing of the exposure, the speed of the shutter and the amount of light allowed; a single picture can be made to look many different ways. The uses of a camera are varied. Scientist have handled them since their creation to capture experiments, the time laps of the experiment. The have also been used to record and study movement. Military, police and security forces use photography for surveillance, recognition and data storage. Artist use photography as a form of expression. The highest percentage of people who use photography, do so to capture memories of outings, family vacations, and so on.

{Not perfectly clear. But in its true form, this picture is the perfection of photographed 'movement.'}
