5. THE DIVISION OF THE PERCEIVED UNIVERSE INTO PORTS AND WHOLE IS CONVENIENT AND MAY BE NECESSARY,*3 BUT NO NECESSITY DETERMINES HOW IT SHALL BE DONE
I was able to understand what the author was getting at, but for some reason the images would not load. I was getting that white box with the little red “x” in the corner. I was able to relate this excerpt to Psychology classes. It reminded me of the experiments that my teachers would give in classes that dealt with perception (or maybe something else). One being the Ink Blot test, and the other being the exercise where the letters of words are partially completed but you can still read the word? I would say that I am probably like the first group of students. I would have seen it as a picture like I do with the inkblot tests. Thinking about pictures and hearing my Xbox 360 that my friend is playing right now, I remembered Bomberman’s mainpage with the game screenshots. I have never played Bomberman, but it looks like a cool game. I tagged Bomberman’s main page with “Bomberman’s Mainpage,” because I figured other people may play the game. The animation then made me think of the class roster page, which has a memorable image. I tagged the page as a directory because it is more extensive than a roster. The directory made me think about the Jan25Notes page This page dealt a lot with arguments, so I tagged it with argument notes. Lastly, I was led to the CourseCalendar page because it is more informative in nature like the other pages. This page was yet to be tagged so I tagged it calendar.
